At New Generation Matric School, we aim to cultivate a culture of discipline, responsibility, and mutual respect. These Student Do’s and Don’ts are designed to help every learner maintain a positive and productive environment throughout the academic journey.

Be Respectful

  • Always show respect toward teachers, staff members, classmates, and school property.

Be Punctual

  • Arrive at school on time and participate in the morning prayer and all scheduled classes.

Wear Uniform Properly

  • Dress neatly in the prescribed school uniform with your ID card every day.

Maintain Discipline

  • Follow all school rules and regulations both inside and outside the classroom.

Be Responsible

  • Take care of your books, stationery, and personal belongings.

Submit Work on Time

  • Complete and submit homework, assignments, and projects as per deadlines.

Keep the Campus Clean

  • Use dustbins, keep your classroom tidy, and promote a clean environment.

Participate Actively

  • Engage in academics, competitions, and co-curricular activities with enthusiasm.

Practice Good Manners

  • Use polite language, listen when others speak, and offer help when needed.

Obey Instructions

  • Follow directions given by teachers and staff without resistance or argument.

Be Honest

  • Always speak the truth, report lost items or found belongings to the school office.

Respect School Property

  • Use desks, benches, lab equipment, and all school resources with care.

Learn with Joy

  • Be curious, attentive, and motivated to grow intellectually and morally.

Do Not Bully

  • No teasing, name-calling, or hurting others physically or emotionally.

Avoid Misuse of Language

  • Use of abusive, vulgar, or inappropriate words is strictly prohibited.

Do Not Bring Gadgets

  • Mobiles, CDs, memory cards, and other electronic devices are not allowed.

Don’t Damage Property

  • Scribbling on walls, desks, or damaging school materials will lead to strict action.

No Cheating in Exams

  • Unfair means during tests will result in severe disciplinary consequences.

No Costly Items

  • Refrain from wearing jewelry or bringing money beyond ₹100 to school.

Do Not Eat Junk on Campus

  • Avoid bringing chewing gum or packaged snacks to maintain health and hygiene.

Do Not Be Disrespectful

  • Arguing with teachers or staff will not be tolerated under any circumstance.

Don’t Skip Classes or Loiter

  • Leaving class without permission or skipping periods is a violation of school conduct.

Do Not Lend or Borrow Valuables

  • Prevent disputes and misunderstandings by avoiding unnecessary exchanges.

No Objectionable Materials

  • Students must not bring or circulate forbidden items like sharp tools, posters, etc.

Do Not Forge Signatures

  • Faking parent signatures on notes or reports is a punishable offense

Don’t Ignore Safety Rules

  • Running on staircases, pushing others, or behaving dangerously will not be excused.

Monitor Academic Progress

  • Regularly check your child's homework, classwork, and progress reports to stay updated on academic performance.

Pay Fees on Time

  • Ensure that tuition and term fees are paid within the due dates to support smooth school operations and avoid late fines.

Maintain Communication

  • Stay in touch with the class teacher or school administration for queries, clarifications, or updates related to your child.

Attend School Meetings

  • Participate in Open House sessions,PTA meetings, and school events to engage in your child’s learning journey.

Support Discipline

  • Back the school’s disciplinary decisions when taken in your child’s best interest and help reinforce the same values at home.

Check the School Diary Daily

  • Review notes from teachers, circulars, or homework instructions and sign them as required.

Inform Changes Promptly

  • Notify the school of any changes in address, phone number, email ID, or emergency contact to ensure timely communication.

Share Sensitive Family Updates

  • Inform the school about any significant family matters such as separation, bereavement, or emotional distress so the school can offer proper support and counseling.

Encourage Co-curricular Participation

  • Motivate your child to participate in school activities like sports, competitions, and events to enhance their confidence and social skills.

Ensure Timely Arrival

  • Help your child reach school on time with proper uniform, books, and a healthy breakfast.

Do Not Enter Classrooms During School Hours

  • Avoid disrupting classroom instruction. Visit the school during designated hours (3:00 PM to 4:00 PM) and meet only with authorized personnel.

Avoid Last-Minute Leave Requests

  • Refrain from asking for sudden permissions to take your child out of school unless it's an emergency.

Don’t Send Sick Children to School

  • Keep your child at home if they are ill or recovering from an infectious disease.

Do Not Criticize Staff in Front of Children

  • Such actions can damage the child’s respect for teachers and affect their learning attitude.

Avoid Sending Expensive Items

  • Do not allow your child to carry valuable gadgets, large sums of money, or costly accessories to school.

Do Not Ignore Communication from School

  • Always respond to messages, notices, and academic concerns shared by the school.

Do Not Encourage Unethical Practices

  • Avoid assisting children in cheating, forging signatures, or lying about attendance or work.
